What visitors say

★★★★★

“Overall a good experience. Meat was really good ( entrana and cordero ) but for the prices you pay I would at least serve a little more fries which are included as a side. We took also grilled vegetables which were delicious but still 14€ for them I think it is too expensive. The Argentinian wine (21 euro the bottle) was good even if they forgot to bring it at the table after we ordered it and we had to ask it to another waiter as the one who took the order didn’t bring it to us. The dessert was ok, still 8,5€ for the price was a little bit too much for us. A bill of 103,70€ in total”

“Unpretentious outlet serving meat/fish simply grilled on a wooden grill . The Argentinian meat is tender and succulent we had the entrecôte and the rib of beef , chuleton ( they should revise the English translation which state T-Bone steak but T-Bone include a fillet which is not the case for the Chuleton ) the starters such as cuttlefish and garlic prawns were simply cooked on a hot planca . Excellent red wines from Ribera del Duero . Friendly and swift service . What could be improved ? Definitely the quality of bread which it seems to be a sort of frozen baguette from the supermarket , also inside the restaurant there is a pungent smell of fried oil and grill which can really stick to your clothes . Apart from that good simple food and good value for money”

“A beautiful restaurant set at the bottom of the castle. Went there alone and was made to feel welcome from the start. Fast service, extremely friendly, food was so good that I went back a second night and again, I was made to feel very welcome. 100% would recommend and I will be coming back here when I next visit Alicante. Thank you for such a lovely experience on both occasions.”
